Alternatively, the Victron Energy Phoenix 1+1 model provides 3a to your starter battery, while the remainder of the power goes to the ‘house’ bank.

In addition to all of these features, the Victron IP43 Charger 24v models are available with 16a or 25a charge options.

Bluetooth Smart Built-in

Notably, the Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger comes with built-in Bluetooth. This allows you to set up, monitor, update, and sync the charger wirelessly. Simply use the VictronConnect app for full control.

Phoenix Smart (1+1): Two Outputs for Two Battery Banks

To put it simply the Victron IP43 Charger has two outputs. The main output provides full charging power. The second output, limited to 4a with a slightly lower voltage, is perfect for topping up a starter battery.

Phoenix Smart (3): Three Outputs for Three Battery Banks

In addition the Victron Energy IP43 Charger offers three full-current outputs. Each output can deliver the rated current, but the total combined current cannot exceed the charger’s maximum rating.

Automatic Voltage Compensation

In addition the Victron Phoenix Charger adjusts for voltage drops in the DC cabling. As current increases, the charger slightly raises output voltage to compensate. For detailed settings, refer to the manual.

Bluetooth Sensing for Smart Monitoring

The Victron IP45 Charger automatically adjusts based on battery usage. This ensures optimal charging without overcharging or undercharging.

Variable Absorption Time for the Right Charge

If the battery is only lightly discharged, absorption time remains short to prevent overcharging. After a deep discharge, absorption time increases to ensure a full recharge.

BatterySafe Mode: Prevent Excessive Gassing

If a high charge current and high absorption voltage are selected, the charger limits the voltage increase once the gassing voltage is reached. This prevents damage from excessive gassing.

Storage Mode: Extends Battery Life

If no discharge happens for 24 hours, the Victron IP43 Charger lowers voltage to reduce gassing and corrosion. Once a week, it briefly increases voltage to prevent stratification and sulphation, common causes of battery failure.

Charges Li-ion (LiFePO₄) Batteries

The Victron IP43 Charger supports Li-ion batteries. It can be controlled via a relay, optocoupler, or Bluetooth for complete voltage and current management.

Fully Programmable Charge Algorithm

You can customize the charge algorithm using Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. Alternatively, select from three preprogrammed settings using the mode button.

Optional External Battery Voltage & Temperature Sensing Via Bluetooth

For better accuracy, connect a Smart Battery Sense or BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor to relay battery data to one or more Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 Chargers.

Remote On-Off Control

The remote on/off consists of two terminals: Remote H and Remote L.
A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L.
